The First Visit

Welcome to Majer Chiropractic Wellness Center in Anaheim We ask that you wear comfortable clothing such as gym shorts to your initial appointment. When you arrive, you can take a seat and fill out some paperwork. Then, you’ll see Dr. Majer for a consultation. Afterwards, he’ll start a thorough chiropractic and neurological examination. Your first day takes about 45-60 minutes.

The Second Visit

On your next visit, you’ll get a summary of your first visit that we call a report of findings. Dr. Majer will discuss your care plan and give you your first adjustment.

This appointment takes about 30-35 minutes.

Regular Visits

On your following appointments, you’ll come in during our adjusting hours, receive an adjustment and be in and out of the office in less than 10 minutes.

One of the statements that has discouraged patients from following thru is the belief that “once you go you’ll always have to go,” but Dr. Majer says: “Once you recover I’m going to suggest you be placed on a wellness care program where I will see you occasionally to make sure you stay that way for life.”

Workshops for Our Patients

“We offer an evening class for new patients called The Special Appointment. We recommend bringing a guest with you to our talk,  where we’ll discuss chiropractic and its benefits for your family, including children”

We also hold periodic workshops on varied topics such as fibromyalgia, ulcerative colitis, ear infections and how chiropractic can help these conditions.

Our workshops are usually held on Tuesday evenings. A calendar in our office shows the coming events that you’re welcome to attend.

Why Chiropractic May Help You

chiropractic-bannerYour health is based on four crucial principles. Everything we do in this office is based on these ideas:

1. Your body is a self-healing organism. It’s designed to heal itself. It’s amazing to realize that

  • All the cells in your liver die and are replaced with brand-new ones every 24 days
  • Every four months all of your red blood cells are wiped out, and your body creates an entirely new set
  • You get a completely new stomach lining every five days
  • Your taste buds are replaced every 11 days
  • At night when you go home and take off your clothes before bed, thousands of dead skin cells float to the floor, and then you vacuum yourself up the next morning! Did you realize that most of the dust in your house comes from you?

You’re in a constant state of change and repair. Our job is to make sure you follow an exact program that allows your body to do what it was intended to, which is heal.

2. Your nervous system is the thing that runs the program of change and repair in the body. It’s like a computer central command center that runs you. As long as your nervous system can communicate effectively with every organ, tissue and cell, every little nook and cranny, you should have the very best health that you have ever had in your life. We call this state normal.

3. If something interferes with the function of your nervous system and it is not able run properly, your body will not be able to do what it is designed to do. It will try to adapt to its malfunctioning state, and this is the start of your problems.

4. Our job as your chiropractor is to restore law and order to the nervous system. We’re the new sheriff in town!

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
